Belgium tenders prison PPP

The Régie des Bâtiments has issued a contract notice for the construction of a new penitentiary facility in Antwerp through the PPP model. This project is part of the Master Plan 2008-2012-2016.

The project involves the design, build, financing and maintenance (DBFM) of a new prison with a capacity of 440 places. The duration of the contract comprises 6 months for preparation the project (including permits), 29 months for construction and 300 months of maintenance.

This selection process will be based on a ranking of the technical and operational knowledge and experience of the candidates for the establishment of a penitentiary establishment via the DBFM model.

Interested parties have to submit their proposals on or before December 12, 2017. The application must be submitted electronically via the e-Tendering platform.
