Belgium city tender school PPP

Vilvoorde, a Belgian municipality in the Flemish province of Brabant has recently announced a tender process for the development of the Green Planet primary school PPP project.

The project involves the design, construction and finance of new infrastructure for the urban primary school located in Karel Trekelsstraat 30, 1800 Vilvoorde. The current school infrastructure, which belongs to the municipality, is obsolete and is located largely in poor condition. 

The following criteria (among other) regarding the financial and economic capacity will be considered in this assessment, and should be sufficiently commensurate to the size of the contract: 

  • The level of sales over the last two financial years
  • The financial situation (for equity and debt, working capital, liquidity ratios and profitability ratios) 

The technical capacity of the candidate will be assessed on the basis of his experience in the following basic fields: 

  • Design
  • Building
  • Financing
  • Project management

The deadline for reception of the submissions in order to participate in the tender process is June 14, 2015 at 15:00 p.m. local time.
