Bastion Infrastructure Group hires Director of Investor Relations

Bastion Infrastructure Group has announced that Anne Marie Stetler has joined the firm as a Director, Investor Relations and will work with the team on fundraising, investor relations and co-investing activities.

Anne Marie Stetler-80Ms. Stetler has over 13 years of financial services experience, including 8 years of principal investing and asset management experience in infrastructure. In addition, she has an extensive background working with institutional investors on co-investment opportunities, fundraising and investor relations.

Ms. Stetler joins Bastion from Aquila Infrastructure Management, where she was a co-founder and Head of Asset Management. In this role, she was involved in all aspects relating to building the firm including investor relations, fund structuring, managing co-investment activities, developing asset management processes and participating in the evaluation of investment opportunities.

Ms. Stetler was previously a Manager at Macquarie's Funds Group in Canada, where she was involved in the investment and asset management activities of Macquarie Essential Assets Partnership, a CAD $460 million infrastructure fund. She was also involved in the establishment of Macquarie Infrastructure Partners II, a North American infrastructure fund. Before Macquarie, she spent four years with Ernst & Young in their Transaction Advisory Services and Audit groups.

Bastion announced in June it hired Wael Elkhouly to head the asset-management division. Elkhouly was previously head of asset management at London-based Eiser Infrastructure Partners LLP.

Recently, Bastion hired global infrastructure expert, Mr. Enrique Fuentes, ex- KPMG and Cintra. Enrique has over 20 years of infrastructure investment and management experience.

Bastion Infrastructure Group is reported to be seeking $2 billion for a debut fund that will invest in power, water, transportation and energy-related industries in OECD countries.
