After the opening of the financial proposals of the two prequalified bidders in Manila, Phillipines today (December 15, 2011), BAC Chairman Undersecretary Rafael C. Yabut announced that Ayala Corporation has the highest bid of P902 Million compared to the P608 Million bid of South Expresslink Corporation, a consortium made up of Optimal Infrastructure Development Inc., Global Network Investido, Star Tollway Corp. & CLGP Philippine Holdings, Inc.

Ayala Corp. will be subject to a post-qualification process to verify the accuracy of the statements it made in its qualification documents and bid proposal. If it passes the post-qualification process, it will be designated the winning bidder and will receive a Notice of Award," said Yabut.

DaangHari - SLEX Link Road PPP project but only two consortia submitted final offers some days ago.
The Department of Public Works and Highways will award the Daang Hari-South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) Link Road Project, the first Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Project under the Aquino administration, to the winning contractor on December 22, 2011.
Project description
The project will involve the construction of a new 4-kilometer, 4-lane toll road, from the junction of Daang-Reyna and Daang-Hari in Las Piñas, Bacoor, Cavite to SLEX through the Susana Heights Interchange in Muntinlupa, traversing the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) Reservation.
It will involve a thirty (30) years OandM concession period plus a 16-months construction period from 2012 to 2013.Follow us:
