Aviva Investors has appointed two infrastructure investment professionals to its infrastructure team.
Veronique Leroy joins as head of infrastructure investment services, from Octopus Investments. Previously she was Director of strategy at GE Capital EMEA.
Veronique also has a background in strategy consulting having worked at Boston Consulting Group. She holds a MBA degree from INSEAD.
Jolanta Touzard joins as assistant fund manager from British fund manager Equitix. Prior to that, she was Manager at PwC.
Ian Berry, head of infrastructure, Aviva Investors, said:
"Infrastructure is a key area for the business, and I am delighted with these further additions to the team. Jolanta and Veronique bring with them a broad range of skills which will support our growth and continued investment activity in this important area."
The infrastructure team at Aviva Investors continues to see a growing interest from clients in the asset class. The infrastructure unit at Aviva Investors manages capital in excess of £1.9 billion.
These hires follow the four announced in July and bring the infrastructure team to 15 in total. Aviva Investors expects to further recruit for the team.
