The Municipality of Angra dos Reis, located in the State of Rio de Janeiro, has published its law on public-private partnerships (PPPs).
The Law No. 3,620, published on January 1, establishes the Public-Private Partnerships Program of the Municipality (called ANGRAPPP PROGRAM). The program establishes administrative and sponsored concession concepts.
The law also provides rules for the use of the Expression of Interest Procedure (PMI) and the Expression of Private Interest Initiative (IPM).
The management of the PPP program will be carried out by the Management Council, which will define priorities for the implementation, expansion, improvement, management and exploitation of services or infrastructure.
