Ancala Partners hires ex-PGGM infra expert

Ancala Partners, an independent infrastructure manager focused on UK and European mid-market investment opportunities, has announced that Vincent Gerritsen, a Senior Investment Manager in the infrastructure team at PGGM, will be joining the firm as a Partner from 1 June 2014.

Vincent has worked on a large number of PGGM's investments including NOGAT and Inexus. Ancala worked with PGGM on both of these investments.

Vincent joins a team of 10 individuals with a mix of investment and operational asset management expertise. Vincent adds to the expertise in both these areas.

Vincent Gerritsen commented:

"I am very excited to be joining Ancala. The firm has developed a strong reputation in the under-exploited mid-market infrastructure sector and the team is very knowledgeable and proactive in this market segment. With a unique combination of investment, asset management and industry expertise I believe Ancala is the partner of choice for institutional investors and I look forward to adding to the team's continued success."

Spence Clunie, Managing Partner at Ancala, commented:

"We are delighted Vincent is joining the Ancala team. Vincent's investment and asset management experience together with his institutional background will make a significant contribution to our investors and the team, both in terms of our investment and asset management activities and our efforts in forging long-term partnerships with institutional investors."
