Following the announced Management Buyout by Graham Matthews and Tom Snow, Access Capital Advisers has announced the appointment of a new board comprising Non-Executive Chairman David Chessell, as well as Non-Executive Directors Mark Snape, Damian Stanley and Janet Torney.
Mark Snape is currently the Chief Executive Officer for RiverCity Motorway, which owns and operates the CLEM7 tollroad in Brisbane. Mark has over 30 years' experience in the project financing, development and operation of major infrastructure projects.
Mark held various senior management positions including the General Manager Infrastructure Finance and Investments for the John Holland Group, Managing Director Asia Pacific for the NYSE listed American Electric Power Co. Inc., Director Deloitte Corporate Finance, Director County Natwest Corporate Finance and Director BZW Corporate Finance.
Damian Stanley is based in London and was most recently an Executive Director for infrastructure and transportation, with Morgan Stanley in London.
Damian has over 15 years of principal equity investment, portfolio company management and professional financial advisory across a breadth of industry sectors and locations globally.
Damian was previously Managing Director for infrastructure and transportation services with Macquarie Group and has served as a Non-executive Director for Copenhagen Airports, Warnow Toll Road Tunnel, DCT Gdansk Port and Bristol Airport. Damian is also qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Janet Torney is Principal of JT Consult, providing strategic governance, business and investment advice.
Janet has extensive business and investment experience in superannuation, investment management and professional services sectors. He was CEO of Qantas Super. Prior to Qantas Super, Janet was Principal & Practice Leader of Aon Investment Consulting in Australasia. Earlier appointments include Director of Tactical Asset Allocation at Westpac Investment Management, and senior economics role at UBS, Macquarie Bank, Citibank and the Reserve Bank of Australia.
