Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) have inaugurated three schools adding capacity for 5,360 students from kindergarten to Grade 12 for the 2024-2025 academic year and beyond in Abu Dhabi’s Zayed City.
The Zayed City Schools project was executed in collaboration with a multinational consortium led by Plenary Group and Besix Group. Currie & Brown served as the contract manager for the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK), while Dar provided technical advice on design and construction.
The project covers a total area of 81,000 sq m and aims to enhance education infrastructure in Abu Dhabi, serving as a model for private sector involvement in the delivery and financing of public infrastructure across the emirate.
