Oman Rail develops an optimized and reliable rail network in Oman that connect to the GCC railway network and provide advanced transport capabilities that can place the Sultanate among the top global logistics powerhouses and secure its place as a vital regional and international trade hub. The domestic rail network will connect to other railway services in the region through a regional network built with other GCC countries. The 2,135 km rail network will provide the key ports of Sohar, Duqm and Salalah with easy and invaluable access to GCC and world markets.
