Nippon Life Insurance Company, also known as Nissay or Nihon Seimei, was founded in 1889 as the Nippon Life Assurance Co., Inc. In structure, it is a mutual company. It first paid policyholder dividends in 1898. It offers whole life and term life insurance, and term life insurance with survival benefits, dread disease, physical disability, and nursing care insurance, general medical, cancer medical, and limited injury insurance, annuity and endowment insurance, juvenile, children's general medical.
