MEI is actively involved in LED street lighting modernizations within three states totaling over 400,000 luminaires in over 20 different municipal jurisdictions. Each of the projects for which MEI is serving as Design Engineer and/or Subject Matter Expert are programmed for exceptional public acceptance, optimized total costs of ownership, and customization to suit the local cityscapes and neighborhood contexts in which the new lighting systems are implemented. Provisioning and/or full build out of networked lighting control systems are included as part of the contracted scope of engineering.
