IRB Infrastructure receives Letter of Award for road PPP project

IRB Infrastructure Developers has received a Letter of Award from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the project of Six Laning Udaipur to Rajasthan/ Gujarat border on section of NH-8 in India.

The estimated project cost is approximately INR21,000 million (US$314 million) with a period of concession of 21 years, including construction period of 910 days. This work will be under the National Highways Development Project (NHDP) Phase-V.

The company will design, built, operate and transfer (DBFOT) a six-laning project of around 113 Km from Udaipur to Rajasthan / Gujarat border (India) on section of National Highway 8 (NH8)  from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).

IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. along with its subsidiaries has constructed or, operated and maintained around 9,295 lane kms of road length so far and one of the major road developers in the country. The aggregate size of all our BOT projects (both completed and under execution) is around INR284.9 billion (US$4.3 billion).

IRB Infrastructure was recently awarded the six Laning of Agra - Etawah Bypass section of NH-2. As we reported in June, the project is in the region of Agra and Etawah (India) and the total length of the road will be approximately 124 km. The project reached financial close that month. The road PPP project is to be developed in build - operation - transfer (BOT - Toll) mode.
