Dalmore Capital

Company description

Dalmore Capital Limited is an independent fund management company focusing on opportunities in the infrastructure sector. Dalmore currently has one discretionary managed fund and a number of managed accounts. Total funds under management exceed £400m. Dalmore Capital is a UK-based fund-management firm, founded in 2009 by Michael Ryan, John McDonagh and Alistair Ray, that specialises in acquiring, managing and holding low-volatility infrastructure assets—primarily in the UK but also in parts of Europe and Canada. It focuses on “core” and “core-plus” infrastructure investments: assets which deliver essential public services (such as transport, utilities, energy generation, waste treatment) and tend to have long-term, stable cash-flows. As of its latest reported figures, the firm manages over £5.5 billion (now around £6 billion following recent disclosures) across five flagship funds and more than 130 infrastructure assets. Its investment philosophy emphasises responsible investing, embedding environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations into asset selection and management decisions.
